Interview
I applied online and had a hit on my LinkedIn profile the next day from someone in the department I applied to. I took this as good news, but it still took them 2 weeks to formally contact me for an interview. I scheduled an in-person interview via email, but a few days before my interview was supposed to take place I was contacted saying there was a scheduling conflict, so my interview got pushed back a few more days. When I finally did have the in-person interview, I showed up 15 mins early to sign in at the front desk and wait for my interviewer to come get me. I was supposed to interview with 2 people--the person who supervises the position (art director), and that person's boss (marketing director). When the art director came to get me, she informed me that the marketing director had to take a phone call and would be a few minutes late. But the marketing director ended up being over 20 minutes late, so they only had a few minutes to ask me questions before they had to leave for the day. Although I thought this was completely unprofessional, and also a little unfair, as I'm sure all the other candidates got a full 30 minutes to talk about their qualifications, I was very polite and forgiving about the situation.
