It was a pleasant experience and Nick was super friendly! I was excited for what was to come. But when I got home to do some more research, got all kinds of information suggesting it was a pyramid scheme
The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Upper Echelon Marketing (Columbus, OH) in Feb 2017
Interview
The interview process was laid back and simple, they talk about the day to day activities and pay and benefits and make sure you understand what the job entails
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Upper Echelon Marketing (New York, NY) in June 2019
Interview
This is purely sales. I interviewed with 2 people. It's just a quick growth company. You're working for the franchise owner to put more money in his pocket. I asked How many people worked there and the 21 year old kid I was talking to didn't know really any about the company. They are just trying to sell the job. You basically have the job once you walk in the door. It's door to door sales (or standing in Walmart selling) for utilities, ATT, and Verizon.
I told the guy I Interviewed with this was a sales job not marketing. He told me sales and marketing mean the same thing. They don't. I worked at a marketing firm for 8 year and have a degree in marketing. They are two separate business models.
It's a foot in the door opportunity, but not long term. If your right out of college, be aware of companies like this. This isn't a true agency.
