First, I was contacted by a recruiter through a Naukri invite. Two days later, I applied for the job and was shortlisted after two weeks. The HR representative (Delhi) then conducted a screening call and assigned me a task. Upon completing the assignment, my first interview was scheduled with the Senior Category Manager from the Delhi office. The interview went well.
Four to five days later, I received a call from the Bengaluru HR team informing me that the earlier position was closed. However, they found my profile impressive and proposed that I interview for the Central Category Manager role for Bengaluru, under their Native by UC category.
The interview with AVP was scheduled immediately and went very well, with positive feedback shared by the HR team. Following this, I was scheduled for a final round with the VP of Native, which also ended on a satisfactory note.
To my shock, the next day, I received a rejection email without any proper feedback or explanation. Since then, I’ve been trying to reach the HR team via calls and emails, but there has been no response.
This lack of professionalism, transparency, and communication from the HR team is deeply disappointing. After investing considerable time and effort throughout this process, such a poor response is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the organization’s recruitment standards
