I applied through university. I interviewed at Urban Ladder (Bengaluru) in July 2015
Interview
The overall hiring process consisted of 1 coding round (1 easy program and 5 moderate multiple choice questions), people shortlisted from this initial coding round were made to go through 3 rounds of interviews with elimination in every round. Two of these rounds were technical rounds and one was a HR round. The interview panel was pretty cool and made me feel very much comfortable during the interview process which boosted my confidence. Questions ranged from most basic questions like "how do u see urself five years from now?" to very specific database, networking, operating systems, algorithms, math, probability and puzzles. They gave a lot of importance to my projects too. So it was a complete package which tested all the knowledge that I have acquired through out my computer science engineering. Overall experience of the hiring process was very good. Out of 120-130 students who attempted 2 of us got full time employment and 1 ended up getting an internship.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Urban Ladder in Nov 2020
Interview
No value for candidate's time.
Firstly the the whole process took more than a month. They wouldn't reply back and you'll have to keep on sending reminder email or call the recruitment agency to check on status.
I gave 2 technical rounds that went well according to me. Because of time constraint, the second interview had to be cut short at one of the problems, but I took my time after the interview and sent an extended email of my solution and reasoning to the engineering head. Got no reply on that for a week. Sent a reminder email a week later and no reply on that either.
Two weeks down the line, the recruitment agency gives me a heads up that the feedback wasn't positive. Well, honestly am glad because I wouldn't wanna work for a company that doesn't value a candidate's time.
