The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Urbantz (Brussels) in Mar 2020
Interview
Mediocre with many generic questions not related to the real project.
They are baked by investors so they navigate the boat and the only thing that matter is ROI. Flat structure and legacy technologies
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Urbantz in Mar 2022
Interview
I had a positive experience interviewing here. Everyone was kind and honest - they get to tell you things how they are. I felt they are all genuinely good people or at least the 6 of them I personally met.
The interview process was efficient and well structured. Prescreen, screen, then 3 x 1h tech + leadership interviews. I went through the whole process in ~2 weeks. The 3 interviews happen independently so I didn't have to wait for feedback after each one of them.
After getting an offer I was scheduled a meeting with the CTO which was really cool. I was walked through the engineering org, the product, and had my role discussed. It seemed like a place where I'll be trusted/allowed to make a difference.
I didn't see any red flags with Urbantz - they seem to know what they are doing. The only reason to decline the offer was because of a competing offer from another company in a domain that I love and it was still a hard decision to make...
