I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Urological Consultants (Rockville, MD) in June 2015
Interview
I saw the opening on Glassdoor and ZipRecruiter and I did the quick application option sending my resume through ZipRecruiter.
About a week later, I received an email from the Hiring Manager confirming the receipt of my resume and wanted to schedule a face to face interview. I was very excited but also reminded her that I didn't meet some of the qualifications for the position and she assured me that she was willing to train the right person.
The interview was scheduled for the following day, I went to the office and I had a great interaction with the employees. One of the receptionist handed me a paper application which I filled up and after that the Hiring a Manager came to take me to her office. She went over what they do and my job description and how it will be harder for me because of my lack of experience. And I immediately assured her that I was open to training and was also looking for a long term position and will stay with the company for a long time if there are growth opportunities. We ended up the interview with her telling me that she'll get back to me by the end of the week or to contact her by the following Monday.
I haven't received anything from her by Monday 9am so I sent her a follow up email, which she promptly replied to and explained that she was still looking at applications. I tried to be sincere with her about really looking forward to working with her and the entire staff because of my positive encounter.
Though I don't know if I am going to get the job yet, I just want to command their office for cleanliness and staffs of their professionalism and the chance to have another interview experience.
