VA Health RN-ER interview questions

The interview process took at least 1-2 months to hear back & I didn’t start until 4-5 months after initially applying. It was a panel interview that included the nurse manager, assistant nurse manager, case management, clinical nurse specialist, & one of the charge nurses.

There are long wait times following the interview process before receiving an offer for employment . Interviews are conducted using a panel of employees and questions are based on past experiences. Each member of the panel asks an interview question. Questions are then rated based on quality of answers. Veterans get preference points and are considered before civilians. The background check takes a considerable amount of time.
