      VFW Interview

      21 May 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Washington, DC
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at VFW (Washington, DC)

      Interview

Behavioral Interview to assess how you would react in made up scenarios. They really want people who are passionate about being of service. There is a phone call, then a one-on-one, then a trip to D.C. to do an additional one-on-one and then the next day you meet the panel which consists of 3 - 5 of the VFW's most senior held positions

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Everything was situational. They are more interested in getting employees with personality matches to the VFW values than anything.
