A 40 minute interview with situational and behavioural questions. Some situational questions were very specific and hard to answer with little experience in the field. The interviewer was professional, but the process felt more like a test of prior industry exposure rather than potential or transferable skills.

The interview process with Spectrum Health Care was professional and efficient. I first submitted my application online, after which I was contacted by a recruiter named Spandana. We scheduled a virtual interview, where she asked about my background, skills, and experience relevant to the Personal Support Worker (PSW) role, especially in palliative care. She also explained the job expectations, shift hours (3–11 PM), and benefits. After the interview, I was asked to submit supporting documents, including my PSW certificate, CPR certification, Vulnerable Sector Check, and TB test results. Once I sent those documents, I was asked to fill out an availability form. The process was clear and smooth, and communication was prompt and professional."
