I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Vangst
Interview
1- Screening, pretty normal questions. Lack of technical questions and answers.
2- Talk with stakeholders
3- Unpaid take home assignment. It consisted of 2 parts, one was a system design exercise, and the other part as to make a monetization plan for the current platform.
I believe the last step should have been done over a call and not a take home assignment. Since the questions were vague and an interaction with them could have been very useful.

Question 1
Considering all the parts of Vangst job board. How would you leverage them for monetization?
Straight forward interview process. Phone screening, then initial interview, team interview, then a product presentation. The product presentation covered some previous products I managed, things that went well and things that didn't go so well and what I learned from it.
