I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at VantageLinks (Saint Louis, MO) in Aug 2015
Interview
They call and request you interview with their client and drop you without returning email or phone calls. This company cares about the numbers and not the recruits. They called me for weeks to get me to let them submit me to different companies. When I finally found one that I thought fit I said yes. I talked to their manager for that account and he said he would submit me. That is when it all went down hill. He never contacted me back not even after I emailed him. I emailed the recruiter and she blamed the company. Why would them not calling me back be the fault of the company they submitted me to. Months later they apparently forgot that they submitted me and contacted me back to submit me to the SAME company. I told the woman I liked the position but I didn't want to deal with her or the previous person who forgot to contact me back. She said I understand and dropped me. Not even offering to allow me to go through another recruiter. I contacted their contact us email saying I was interested in the position and their VP Vice President, Strategic Relations. He admitted that someone dropped the ball but again blamed the client. I asked about the position and he said the thought that I didn't want the position, it was obvious that he didn't read the email either. After a couple of email exchanges we went our own ways.
I would stay away from this company if possible. I would have ranked them above the Indian companies that don't speak English but after the last email exchange I would rank them at the very bottom.
They only care about the quick placement and getting paid. They care nothing about the recruit.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me if I would rewrite my resume to better match the requirements. I don't lie on my resume.
