Though it varies from post and level of experience you are carrying. For freshers we either ask candidate to submit any 4-5 problems from Archived Problems - Project Euler or if they come during a walk in we ask them to first write program/ pseudocode for some of these problems or any other solvable programs. If one is good in this basic code/programming screening it will be followed by technical interview where we will check candidate's basic attitude toward learning new technologies, basic in c/c++ , OOPS concept and practical application.
