Applied online and received email regarding interview with hiring manager and FSE via Teams. Interview was a get to know you kind of and see if you would be good for this position. I guess I did well in the first interview and went on to the next one which was a group interview and had 5 people that were all higher management and provided a knowledge test which was pretty much basic electronic theory, mechanical tools, and computer knowledge. I guess I did fine there as well as the recruiter said they were working on a offer for me and I would expect it in a few days. Waited a week for said offer and it never came, then I got an email from hiring manager to meet in person. The meeting was fine and the hiring manager said he would definitely update me on the position. I never heard anything from them again and it has been months. So, basically I've been ghosted like a prepubescent boy that tried to ask the hot cheerleader neighbor. I wanted to work here because the job would be a challenging and rewarding one as I've known a few people that has died from cancer and this would be a way to say I'm fighting it for them. Oh well, I wished I would have received just a thank you but we went with a different direction rather than nothing prior to you'll get an offer soon.
