Talk with a recruiter, standard screen call, then HM, then an engineer on the team. The next step would be onsite.
They are looking for someone with integration, installed antenna performance experience. They are not doing much design.
I applied online. I interviewed at Vast (Long Beach, CA) in May 2025
Interview
The interview process consisted of a recruiter phone screening and 2 virtual meetings (one with a member from the team and one with the hiring manager). The whole interview process was seamless and engaging. The recruiter was approachable and was genuinely interested in finding the team with the perfect fit for my skills. The phone screening took 30 mins and was behavioral heavy. The interviewers told me what I could expect from my role, asked questions about my experience from my resume, and above all were gauging to see my level of passion for aerospace and Vast specifically. They also wanted to see a portfolio of my engineering work.
