I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Vector Marketing (Los Angeles, CA) in June 2010
Interview
Mostly young people, you can start working for them at 16, so a lot of high school kids and college students in the summers. They like to hire young so that they can mold the people that work for them how they like. Kids are easy to motivate and to convince they need to pick it up because they want money. Biggest lie I heard was that they only deal with the best of the best. Interviewer said it to me and then heard her say it to the next person and the next person, who also got hired. Interview only took 30 minutes, not including time spent waiting and filling out pre-interview paperwork.
