I interviewed at Vector Marketing (San Marcos, TX)
Interview
This was a weird job... the first week, we had over 30 hours of "orientation," and of course, it was "unpaid, because we are looking to see if you can commit this time to us."
Then you're prompted to write down 15+ family members or friends that would be interested in the product, and if you couldn't, door-to-door and cold calls were expected.
I worked the company for over three weeks before I returned to my old job, and when I called the owner of our branch, he scoffed and said, "So... you're leaving CUTCO?" I said, "Yes, I'm going back to Cracker Barrel. This is the first time they've opened since quarantine" and he said, "Hm.. have fun at Taco Bell."
I haven't looked back, and I'm glad I didn't. That place was vicious!
It was a zoom meeting with other candidates, but we were interviewed separately, it went well very well learned about the position and also, we had a meet up at the office to practice with the product and learned even more about sales.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Vector Marketing in July 2025
Interview
It was a quick easy zoom call in a group interview followed by an individual phone call interview with an answer if you’re hired or not then and there. Simple easy questions as well.
