Phone interview with recruiting, then video call with hiring manager who conducts a paired programming session using coderpad, then 2 tech screens with engineers. One of the tech screens was with a principal engineer who struggled to communicate his questions and it made for an awkward interview. He wasn't able to demonstrate an understanding of what he wanted to ask and this gave me concerns about the quality of the other team if this was someone they viewed as principal engineer
