First round was with HR. Asked about why I wanted to work at the company and ensured I had looked at the job description and knew what type of job I was applying for. Super great experience and was told I’d move onto the second round at the end of the call.
Was sent an excel logic test after this HR call to be due 48 hours after receiving. Was simple enough and just involved numbers problems.
Second round consisted of three interviews: a behavioral, individual case study in excel or SQL, and then group case study. Behavioral did not ask traditional STAR questions and instead asked about my approach to my big life decisions. Be sure you know yourself and why you chose your path, like your major, clubs, and college, and why you didn't go for alternatives. The individual case study was chill, just be familiar with wrangling data, data logic and organization, and how to join tables. Group case study was deciding on how to allocate marketing budget and just is meant to see how you respond and react to group dynamics.
Final round was in person with two leaders of the program, one a very detailed non traditional behavioral (very life reflective type questions) and the other slightly more technical, but still mostly interrogating why you want to work at Veeva and if it really aligns with your personal values and goals or not. The behavioral interviewer did ask some more personal questions, so if you don't build a natural rapport with them from the start, I can see how this would be off-putting, but I think vibing with them is really important to being a good fit for the job. Overall, I had a really positive experience with everyone. The process was super long, but at the end, I really was won over by the people I would be working with and I felt that I would fit in at the company. That being said, I declined due to the offer stage being lengthy and receiving another opportunity.
