Reached out by a recruiter for a position in a different city. After speaking with the recruiter, it was mentioned that there were no managers for this team and the team was recently formed with new members. I politely declined to continue as the team did not meet my expectations but was met with some backlash from the recruiter. Found it quite rude for the recruiter to be rude about a candidate’s decision to decline but made the interview process less desireable to pursue.
