Interview
The Ventas HR recruiter was fairly flakey; i.e. say she was going to call at a particular time, but didn't. Say she wanted to follow-up, but didn't. Unresponsive to follow-up emails sometimes and then responsive to other emails. She was very unpredictable.
The interviews were formulaic catering to behavioral questions, which made them feel contrived, as if it were painful for the interviewers. One interviewer had the common decency to apologize for asking such scripted stuff stating the questions came from HR and they had to ask them.
I had three 30 min interviews with 3 different people. It's very important that I point out one major issue with all three experiences. They spent 25 min asking me scripted questions and I had 5 min to ask my own questions. This was a big red flag for me. How can I gauge the fit if I'm only allowed 5 min? Also, if a hiring team is not interested in their potential hires then it made me wonder how one-sided or bad the culture was there?
After the interviews, I was asked to fill out 3 personality tests, which I obliged, mainly out of amusement and curiosity. Then 3 weeks later heard from the HR recruiter who said she wanted to follow-up since I was a top candidate, and of course I didn't hear from her. The overall back and not-so-forth went on nearly 8 weeks. I had since moved on with another offer so it was all a moot point.
The thing I'd like to caution future candidates about (if applicable) is that this Co will potentially waste your time. The recruiting process is disorganized, chaotic, and deficient. If you're newish to the workforce then you will probably put up with it. But for old, grizzled, experienced, great talent like myself ... that's going to be a hard pass.

Interviewed with 3 people and asked question about my pervious experience. Be ready to give example of how you have done task related to the position. The interviewed was like a conversation and it flowed well.
