Venters Recruits interview questions

I was called in for an Interview with Venters Recruits (head hunters), I was lead to believe that I was the perfect candidate that Venters were looking for. They told me that their client which is in the construction field was looking for a full time Front Desk Receptionist. They told me that they have placed a few candidates within this company and that they are an amazing company to work for. I left and was told they would be in touch with me. I never heard from them again. This job positing has been of Glassdoor for a couple of months. I truly believe that there was never an intention to hire a Receptionist, but rather to collect my resume and add to their data base. I wouldn't trust or recommend this company at all, it's a waste of time.
