The first interview was a screener call. Just to make sure you have some experience. The second call explains more about the role and the pay. The second interview was when I found out the job title and roles outlined within the job posting are not what the actual job is.
The job posting states that you will:
- Develop and implement creative sales strategies to reach new audiences
- Engage with potential customers through various channels and showcase our offerings
- Collaborate with a dynamic team to achieve sales goals
- Analyze market trends and contribute fresh ideas to enhance our brand presence
When in reality you will be selling cell phones in a Costco while going through a growth development program to eventually create, hire, and train your own team. Then your team members will repeat the process.
I ended the second interview after fully understanding what the role is.
Honestly, I have no issues with this type of job, but it needs to be properly outlined in a job posting.
