I interviewed for a role in the London office and completed eight interviews over a four-week period. These included conversations with the recruiter, the hiring manager (twice), a potential line manager, leaders in Sales and Product, the Managing Director, the hiring manager’s US counterpart, and a final in-person interview at the London office where I met additional stakeholders beyond what had been communicated.
While the overall timeline was reasonable, the number of interviews felt excessive given that this was not a line-management or director-level role. The process suggested a lack of efficiency and clarity around decision-making, with many stakeholders required to provide input.
I was told that a decision would be made the following week after the final interview. However, I did not receive any further communication, and I later saw the role re-advertised on multiple job platforms. After investing significant time and effort, the absence of feedback or closure was disappointing.
The recruiter appeared disengaged throughout the process, and the lack of follow-up ultimately left a negative impression.
