I had a pretty negative interview experience from my work with the sales recruiter to the final round interview. The sales recruiter didn't call to prep me before both the first and final round interview, joined our video call 10 minutes behind schedule, and forgot to send me vital pieces of information that was required to complete in order to finish the interview process.
The first round was a phone interview with a mid-market manager. I thought it went well and the interview was pretty easy. I then moved on to the final round video interview with three managers at Verkada. The first video was with the head of the SDR program - he was disengaged, seemed bored. I could see him emailing when I was was asking questions and he would ask me to repeat the same question multiple times because he wasn't listening. The other 2 were mid-market sales managers, very cool people and the interview was pretty easy. I mostly think that was because they didn't really have questions prepared or had seen my resume.
Although I did not receive the job offer I was fully prepared to decline if I had received an offer. I hope people interviewing in the future can see a reoccurring theme from the posts on this page.
