I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Verkada (San Mateo, CA) in May 2022
Interview
I was ghosted after the final round interview. It started off great, I had both a recruiter reach out and a referral from a current employee. The recruiter, while disorganized (had to text to remind of zoom call and for initial intro call he was at the auto shop), was very nice and helpful, preparing me well for each step. There was an initial call with an Account Exec, then a panel interview, then a final interview with a Manager. All similar behavioral based/resume questions, some questions were even repeated by different interviewers but overall pretty straightforward. After the final interview I was told by the manager I would hear back in day or two, and so far have not heard back 8 days later. The recruiter has not responded to my texts which would all together lead me to believe there is no offer coming. It was a positive experience up until getting ghosted, and would have remained one even with a rejection call, but that alone made this an incredibly poor experience.
