Interview was fairly simple. The questions asked were easy to answer. I found the process quite quick and easy. I was offered the job the next day over an email.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Vets for Pets (Pitsea, England) in Aug 2025
Interview
I had an informal short phone call, then asked for a sit down interview with head nurse and deputy, it lasted 30 minutes. I was shown around the practice afterwards.

Question 1
what do you do to deal with stress and pressures of a fast paced environment?

1. the phone is ringing
2. there are bins that need taking out
3. vet calls and asks for a stethoscope
4. there is dog sick on the floor that needs cleaning up.
It was a group interview with about 4 others, taken by the area manager who was lovely, plenty of opportunity for everyone to speak, followed by a brief tour of the practice. They often do individual interviews instead though.
