I applied online. I interviewed at ViPeak Global (Oak Park, IL) in Mar 2017
Interview
I was under the impression that this was an office job, but it's actually a sales job where you go to different supermarkets to sell cable services . If you past the first round, the second round is not necessarily an interview, it's more so a job shadow because it goes from 10am-7pm and I didn't like that they didn't provide any information on what you're going to be doing, nor where you're going. The interviewer took me to Walmart where I realized that this was a sales job because they set up an Xfinity booth in the middle of the electronics department of Walmart. During our lunch break the interviewer explains the position a little more what you do in sales and how you can advanced within months to a higher position and it's a commissioned based position. If you turned down the offer they immediately order you an Uber ride to send you back to the office.
If you're looking for a sales job you can apply for this company, but this isn't what I was looking for and I wish they did a better job at telling what kind of job this is from the get-go . It's very misleading to say the least. I recommend they should the change job title from marketing assistant to sales representative or brand ambassador.

Give me ten examples of your strengths and weaknesses

Interview
My first impression of the company was how friendly and helpful all of the staff were, I had a few questions before the interview and the lady I spoke to over the phone did everything to make sure all of my questions were answered. First interview was quick about learning the background of the company and to see if it's a good match for both parties. I got through to the second stage of the interviewing process and I was amazed at finding a company that was not only willing to teach everything to know about marketing, but also provides such tangible opportunities for progression.

Interview
I applied on LinkedIn with the Easy Apply button. They contacted me the next day to come in for an interview. The first interview was fast and easy. Just simply talking about yourself and hearing about their experiences with the company.
I interviewed on a Friday morning, they called me later to ask if I could come for an all day interview the following day from 10:30am-5/6pm. I accepted and knew that once I found out the day-to-day of the position i would know whether I would stay or not.
I showed up early. When 10:30am rolled around they had us waiting until 10:50am when the manager came out and said they had a client meeting until 11am and then they would be with us. Very unprofessional. Then they paired us up with someone currently working there who would be evaluating us. We also were shadowing a new hire who was a couple weeks in. They drove me 40 minutes out of the city to a Wal-Mart to sell Xfinity. They also drove one of their own cars which the AC didn't work (how lovely). After observing them going up to people for 30 minutes I thanked the girl for her time and told her I didn't think this position was right for me. I apparently "prejudged a great opportunity" but they let me go and told me to find my own ride or call an Uber.
They chose their words very carefully in the position listing as well as in the first interview. Event-based promotions as the office manager talked to me about in the first interview was selling Xfinity in Wal-Mart.
Marketing Assistant is a direct-sales/door to door sales.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They are willing to lie to get applicants in the door.

Interview
This company is a SCAM!!! They get back to you so quick like in a day or two after you apply. The first interview takes about 10-15 min where the president guy quickly explains about how their company is expanding and in need of more managers but does not clearly explain what exactly they do (Supposedly works with Xfinity and Comcast.) On the same day, they call you to come in the next day from 10:30am-7pm which is basically to just use your time to sell whatever they are selling (Xfinity product.) They most likely to tell you that you did not get an offer if you stuck to it. However, the most applicants just withdraw before they decline them, which is actually good for them. They only thing they need is free work from a number of applicants for as many day as possible. Who knows how often they have 2nd interview with applicants. Probably multiple times a week. The 2nd interview is just a shadow word for using people's free work.

Question 1
Silly questions; the president guy was not even interested in who I was.
