Applied to position posted by recruiter, he was great, set up initial phone screen. Had call with hiring mgr, went really well, connected, similar backgrounds, etc. She set up in person interview.
Interview process lasted 4+ hours, met with eight interviewers, some on-site, some via teleconference. Five of the interviewers admitted that they hadn't seen my resume, didn't know anything about the job I was applying for, and were not sure why they were being included in the process.
Talked to the hiring manager for about 2 minutes total in the four hours. Hiring mgr was going to circle back and finish up the process, and as the last interviewer was texting her to let her know he was ready for her, he started laughing to himself...then he told me we were done, and gave me the bums rush out the door.
Whole process was disorganized from the start. Interviewers didn't have a schedule, nor did I. Teleconference equipment didn't work right, and I was bounced back and forth up and down stairs through four different conference rooms.
Not sure where the wheels fell off the cart on this one, also not sure spending four hours of everybody's time was necessary for a temp/contract position.
