I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Virtu Financial in Feb 2022
Interview
Apply online and received online assessment after three days. The assessment is a 75-minute codility problem consists of five leetcote easy problems.
I finished the test in 45 minutes, I am very sure that my answers are correct as I tested it with different inputs many times. However, I got rejected on the next day.
I have no idea what I did wrong. When I look online, I found that many candidates encountered the same problem, as Virtu will reject candidates even they answer correctly in the test. It looks like they will send the assessment to candidates even they do not have any headcounts.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Virtu Financial (Dublin, Dublin) in Aug 2025
Interview
The process began with an online Python test, where I scored 10/10. After that, I had a short 20-minute HR interview including two brain-teaser questions, which went well. The final stage was a one-hour interview focused on discussing my CV and past projects in detail. The process itself felt a bit unstructured, and I believe a misunderstanding during the final interview affected the outcome, as my comments about past applications were misinterpreted as a lack of interest in the role.
