hr initiated the initial conversation with vague jd, not sure how they got my profile.
i have requested for complete jd along with other details, no response and didn't shared jd and other details incl. interview process.
30m interview call was scheduled after 2-3 weeks. attended the interview without complete jd.
on interview day be careful with the interview call tool, it may create problem while joining and you don't have the option to install & setup b4 the call (in my case). after a little struggle joined the call 5m earlier.
interviewer was late by 5m as predicted and asked me to wait for another few mins while doing own job (assuming some closer work of prev. call). i was a bit tens at this point becuz of tool issue, the interviewer was busy with closer activity, and already passed 10m.
then interviewer started the verification process (they will ask you to on your video but interviewer will not keep their video on), and mutual intro, after this they started the actual interview, at this point 15m already gone.
started asking the actual interview questions, those questions were in a single statement some are general pm activities/processes, some are relating these pm activities/processes to your past work.
i felt interviewer was reading each question from a notebook, while still doing their work in the background, instead of having an interactive conversation. also i felt ai tool was reviewing your answers and the interviewer is just an executor. there was no way to read interviewer facial expression as the video was off from their side, this made me even a bit uncomfortable to answer the questions during last 15 mins of the call.
questions looks simple as it's just one statement, but they are not.
even though i know most of the answers, and a certified professional, due to non-interactive interviewer, thinking that ai tool is evaluating the answers, and time pressure (only 10 mins left). at this point i lost the interest to give my best performance/answers, and answered just to the point, kept the answer short.
after ~15m of actual discussion interviewer closed the call making it overall 30m call.
post interview, no further comm for a week from the hr, so I did multiple followup and till date there is no response from the hr, not even considering to acknowledge.
there were many red flags (in my view) from the initial comm to till end, i felt this particular hr/interviewer were unprofessional during entire hiring process. Overall I rate my experience was bad and i strongly believe, for virtuasa there is a room for the improvement in their hiring process. please share your experience so that helpful for other candidates.
