Format:
Aptitude test (logical reasoning, quantitative ability, verbal ability).
Basic technical test (coding questions, MCQs on CS fundamentals, or domain knowledge).
Outcome: Shortlist of candidates who meet the baseline criteria.
Round 2: Technical Interview
Purpose: To evaluate problem-solving, technical depth, and practical skills.
Format:
Coding/Problem-Solving: Writing efficient programs, debugging, or solving algorithms.
Core Concepts: Data structures, OOPs, DBMS, OS, Networking, or domain-specific questions.

Interview questions [1]
Question 1
In my interview, one of the key questions was around AI and transformers—they wanted me to explain how transformers work and why they’re so impactful in NLP. Apart from that, they also asked me some scenario-based questions in data science, like how I would handle messy datasets or design a solution for a real-world prediction problem. They also touched on Markov Chain Processes (MCPs) and intelligent agents, checking how I connect theoretical concepts with practical applications.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Vive Financial (Draper, UT) in Mar 2017
Interview
Was easy. But will hire anyone. It doesn't matter if you have experience. Just have a pulse. That is all you need. Really apply but don't say I didn't warn you
It was ok, but it was very long, and they (the management team) didn't really seem like they knew how to interview an applicant very well. They would ask the same questions and then pause like they didn't know what to ask from there.
