I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Vivial in July 2019
Interview
I applied to a content editor role with Vivial in July 2019. A recruiter reached out to me shortly after and she immediately asked for salary requirements... After that, I had a phone interview with the senior manager––it was conversational, pleasant, and went well. I was asked to complete an editing test in 48 hours, which I sent back in a day. Just a basic fix-these-paragraphs-for-errors-and-flow test.
Not many days after, I received an email saying that they were moving forward with other candidates. There was no mention of the edit test. I asked for feedback; the recruiter sent three sentences.
Not a positive experience. If I had read the reviews on Glassdoor first, I would not have applied in the first place.
Terrible. I've applied twice and taken their editorial assessment twice now. Was rejected oth times, but had to reach out BOTH times to find out what they were deciding with me. Please read the reviews if you're applying to the content editor role. Now that this has happened to me twice - they actually did immediately ask me what my salary expectations were and provided me with the editor's assessment, which I completed within a day - but then nothing after that. No interview. Nothing. Read the other reviews. They're accurate. Vivial is a waste of time.

Interview
Short interview process. Quickly contacted by recruiter. Never contacted again after interview for an acceptance or denial. Tried following up but never heard anything. Discouraging from a potential employee standpoint.
