I had two interviews with Vogel’s Directors. Their strongest selling point was the variety of projects I would be working on. That didn’t do much for me because you can expect to encounter a wide range of projects at any public accounting firm. Rather, I was sold on their assertion that Vogel wasn’t a traditional public accounting firm. That claim was true in the sense that their client base and service offerings are different from that of a traditional public accounting firm. However, I found that Vogel operates exactly like a stereotypical firm and is plagued by a lack of leadership and supervisory and project management skills. These problems are common in public accounting but Vogel seems to struggle with them a lot more than the average firm does.

Quick response from submitting resume to phone interview to face to face and offer. The face to face interview is with a senior and director. They have some preset questions, many questions were easy to answer.
