I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Vonage in May 2026
Interview
The process spanned over a month and included a last minute reschedule initiated by the interviewer side, with little acknowledgment of the candidate's time. Communication between steps was slow, and there were long gaps with no updates even after the final interview was completed. The recruiter was professional and responsive, but the overall process felt disorganized and candidate experience was not a priority.
The role is positioned as forward-looking with an emphasis on AI and modernization, but the interview panel itself reflected a range of perspectives that felt inconsistent with that vision. Some interviewers were sharp and current; others demonstrated a clear unfamiliarity with what product and operations leadership looks like at enterprise scale. The feedback provided post-rejection was contradictory across reviewers, which suggests the panel lacked alignment on what they were actually looking for.

Question 1
How would you approach change management for moving an organization to continuous improvement and continuous deployment.
I was interviewed by people who did not know how to do their job. I had to laugh, they were trying to hire someone to do the job they where hired for.

Question 1
Cleary these guys did not know enough to ask a question...lol. The only thing of value was, i found out that i could get vonage for 10 bucks per month. I was paying 33 bucks per month. I switched to the 10 bucks per month and cancelled a month later, i was a customer for 8 years. I think they are doomed!
