About 3 weeks after applying, I received a message from the recruiter to schedule a phone screen. We had a good, high level conversation about the company and the position, as well as my general experience. We also discussed compensation right away during this call. Next, I interviewed with the hiring manager for the role for about 45 minutes. It was primarily a behavioral interview with standard "tell me about a time when" questions. It was enjoyable and the hiring manager indicated she would like me to move forward to the next round.
Ultimately, the recruiter let me know that they had others farther along in the process and decided to make an offer to one of those candidates so I didn't end up doing any additional interviews. I liked both people I spoke to, and would be interested in applying again in the future.
