Application
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at WD (San Jose, CA) in Mar 2018
Interview
I had one call with the recruiter where we went over my background and experience. Then I had a call with the hiring manager. With the hiring manager as well the conversation was mainly focused on my background, experience as well as the responsibilities for the role I was interviewing for. The manager was really great and gave me a very honest and thorough overview about the role and what he was looking for in the applicant. This interview went well and I was asked to come on-site for a day long interview the next week. I had 6 technical interviews (30 mins each) and 1 lunch conversation on-site. The interviewers were all very good and seemed like they were all passionate about their work. I had one coding round and the rest were mainly focused on my experience and background. Three days later I was made an offer.
