I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at WD (Fremont, CA) in Apr 2010
Interview
Combination of one on one interview and group interview. There are general questions like tell me about yourself, what did you do in previous job, why do you want to work here. People ask pretty technical questions, many specific to processing and metrology. Not a lot of behavior type of questions. People are not trained on interviewing and interviews are not planned and organized like places such as Intel or AMAT.
