      Business Development Manager Interview

      26 Apr 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at WGSN

      Interview

Interview was overly intrusive whilst communication and application process is one of the worst I have experienced. I applied for the role over a month ago with no communication from the hiring manager post my second round interview. I understand everyone’s busy but to make a candidate go through multiple rounds and for the company to go solid silent is a big red flag.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Spotlighted on number of meetings I would look to achieve and asked me a lot about past targets and budgets.

      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at WGSN

      Interview

They asked basic questions, there was nothing surprising. The questions revolved around experience and knowledge of the market. There were three phone interviews with people across the country and one in person interview. They asked me to put together a mock sales presentation on their product using information available online.

      Question 1

There really were no difficult or unexpected questions.
