I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at WMUR-TV in Dec 2017
Interview
First, I had a phone interview that led to an in-person interview. I interviewed with the news director, assistant news director and a fellow executive producer. The phone interview went over the basics of the job, the hours expected, why the position is open and what the salary range was. The in-person interview focused more on my news philosophy, how I could contribute to the team and why I was looking for a new position.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at WMUR-TV
Interview
My interview with the production manager was very casual and I was asked very basic questions. I waited two weeks to find out that I was offered the position. I was persistent in calling to see what the status was.
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at WMUR-TV (Manchester, NH) in Apr 2010
Interview
1:1 interview in a relaxed setting. Interview questions ranged. Interview questions look for experience and production work specifically related to the technology. Camera operation, teleprompter use, etc.
