I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at WPP (New York, NY) in Mar 2014
Interview
Was referred by an employee to the head of the internship program. As a result I received the complete application and instructions about the cover letter and essay required. After submitting and waiting a few weeks I was brought in for an interview. The interview went well and wasn't overly challenging and I felt good about it. Unfortunately, I didn't get the internship in the end but was happy with the process and the opportunity to learn more about this company.

Question 1
If you could create a product what would it be and how would you advertise it?
Face to face interview. The HR was very nice and introduced me a lot about the company culture. Got an offer next day by e-mail. Good experience, and look forward to the internship there.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at WPP (New York, NY) in Mar 2017
Interview
Started with one short phone interview that then progressed into going to the HQ in New York and meeting with 5 separate people to see if you might fit in well underneath them.
Call interview in the beginning. Promised to call back by the end of the week. No response at all. It's been a month. The recruiter asked many questions and explained specific description of the job.
