Interview
I have not interviewed. Once I interview I will provide feedback. I think it will be fine as I have done plenty of interviews. Can anyone else share their interviews experience. What can I expect in the first phone interview. How many interviews do you go through?

Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter as I was interested in an operations manager position in the food and beverage industry. First interview was with the Recruiter from HR after that initial interview it went to the division manager and from there was a behavioral assessment if they wanted to proceed further final an interview was with the area regional. Questions were typical basically why Waffle House? What if questions or how would I respond? Why I leave my current? Just basic questions. I gave it a thumbs down because this position clearly stated no prior experience required, they put you in a training program that teaches you every facet of the industry, and mind you, although my current position was in management, my earlier working history started in restaurant management through having my own restaurant. After the interview, I was contacted by the HR Recruiter that stated the area regional manager wanted me to come in as a shift supervisor because he felt I needed some training prior to the position. I was taking back by that situation because for one I have over 20+ years working in history, it misaligned with me financially, and also this was a management trainee position, which it was to teach you the business. How do you advertise no prior experience for this position, to train, but want someone with experience in a management training position. I actually wanted this position because I felt the training would have been great, I liked it the structure, and it put me in a different field from previous.

Interview
Truly a silly company. I applied for the position and got a phone interview request. The job description is vague for a reason. Hint: not recommended if you expect to have any sort of life outside of work. After doing more research, I was ready to cancel the interview but decided to at least hear what the recruiter had to say. The interview was set up a week out. The night before, I get a random cancellation of interview, and was told to check my email for the explanation. The explanation: a generic "after reviewing your application, we have decided to pursue other candidates". Tip to HR: Have a little respect for your candidates. It didn't matter to me, but there are people who spend hours/days preparing for these interviews.
