I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Walgreens in June 2011
Interview
I applied online, and then turned in my resume in person. I got a call the next day, and came in the day after that for a one-on-one interview. It was relaxed, I dressed nice (which was noticed and appreciated) and was just asked typical questions like, "What would you say is your biggest weakness?" and "Why do you think Walgreens should hire you?" Typical stuff like that. I answered confidently and clearly, and joked a bit too when it was appropriate. He said he would tell the main manager that he should hire me, and I got a call the next day saying that I was approved of. I came in about two days later and took a skills test (basic math and job-scenario questions), and that was it!

Question 1
Tell me about yourself and how you became successful?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Walgreens (Houston, TX)
Interview
I met with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager of the store, it was a typical interview. They asked about my work experience and my availability. There was also a drug test offsite (urine).
Quick and basic questions. Nothing extreme hired on the spot and started the following week. Very nice manager who interviewed. Wanted my history & work experience. Usually I’m pretty anxious during interviews but not this one.
