I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Walgreens (Chicago, IL) in July 2016
Interview
Typical interview questions and they wanted to know your experience with people and retail in general and do you have open availability. And how long do you plan on staying with the company.

Question 1
Why do you want to work for Walgreens and how do you act towards an upset customer and how did you act with other employees in a group project
First I filled out an online application, then I was emailed an invitation to take an assessment that last about 20 minutes - and all the questions were about work styles and personality fit

Question 1
Many personality questions and work style questions
Straightforward and to the point. Not many difficult questions for an entry level job. There were not many questions in general and it was mostly focused on how to handle difficult customer interactions.
Simple and quick. They just ask basic questions like what time you are available to work and what position interest you. They will adjust your working schedule if you are a student so no worries.
