Very standard. Nothing out of the ordinary. You have to do part of the application process online then go to any store near you to complete the process on one of their computers. After a couple of days dress nice and walk in to each Walgreens in your area and ask to see the manager. Explain you completed the application process and ask if they have pulled your resume. Usually they haven't even though they may have positions available.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Walgreens
Interview
Interview process was easy. I received a call back within a week. I went in for my interview and they asked questions about my experience and was hired on the spot. I started the following week.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Walgreens (Chicago, IL) in Apr 2017
Interview
Aptitude Tests followed by in-person interviews with regional supervisors, other current managers, and pharmaceutical managers. Good to have experience in the field beforehand, they like to hire from outside the company but value previous experience. I previously worked for CVS so I had a fairly easy interview process
