Interview
Depending on the store, really didn't need an interview. I got a call while I am in class and agreed to the availability they wanted. Then, I came into the store, talked to the pharmacy manager, and we moved on to the drug test. If they want to hire you that the drug test would be it along with step 3 of the application process open. Once everything is done at your end, time is of the essence. This process becomes out of your hands and is passed on to corporate. Who knows, but this process takes a while to complete and am still waiting to hear back on my first day of work. Again, once you get your drug test, then you are hired. So, if in the same situation, don't fret about it, they are putting a lot of time and resources of getting you in. Don't quote me in the interview step, it depends on the pharmacy manager in the store.

Straightforward, started off with introductions. Focused on experience, comfortability with learning new skills, interest in healthcare and Walgreens as a company. It was important to show how and why you’re interested in healthcare.

Take me through a day in the life of your previous place of employment.
Very easy and laid back interview process. Unfortunately, Walgreens doesn’t have a great retention rate so they hire who they can as long as you tell them you have an interest in working long term.

Interview
short and to the point, very amiable in the dialog. Got back to me fast in terms of emails and helped me feel at home. People were joyful. They offered me a job on the spot after the interview. I was pretty stunned.
