I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart Global Tech (Bengaluru) in July 2019
Interview
5-6 rounds on different capabilities- People , Process, Project, Stakeholder Management and Architecture followed by Hiring manager and HR.
There were specific rounds around each one of these sections and they asked for various scenarios and situation on how I have handled in past company and experience.
I interviewed at Walmart Global Tech (Sunnyvale, CA)
Interview
The initial call with the principal engineer—coding—was simple LeetCode style, and the engineer (interviewer) was not even proficient in understanding basic things. He was sticking to his own idea and style, insisting on following that.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do I code the most duplicated substring in a given string?
First round with hiring manager for 1 hr
After that there will be loop interviews with 2 VP, 1 Senior Manager and 1 Senior Director. Questions will be mix of technical, behavioral and system design.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Walmart Global Tech (Chennai)
Interview
I was interviewed by a humpty dumpty with some lame questions. He seemed so disinterested in taking the interview since, probably, he was having an afternoon nap and he was forcibly woken up just for the interview on a weekday. He was forced because he had recently joined Walmart (within 7months) and probably trying to impress his manager.
A few lame questions -
1. How do you select date range from New Relic?
2. How do you use agile dashboard?
That's all. Just 2 questions and rejected me when my answers felt subjective to his lame questions.
Coming from Paytm Noida to Walmart Chennai, probably the humpty had a better interviewer.
