Interview
You get a behavioral online assessment using ModernHire. Then a technical assessment using HackerRank (2 questions). Got 2 hashing leetcode-style questions. Then you do behavioral/high level technical interview round 1. Then round 2 is a technical leetcode style question, (I would say medium level), involved sliding window and sorting.

General technical questions about technologies to be used on the job, CI/CD, programming languages, etc...
It starts with some basic Java/Springboot/Kafka (producer and consumer etc.) questions, and then use Google docs to write 3 Leetcode questions(Easy to Medium) about String and HashMaps. Took around 40 mins.

I passed all the interviews only to be told at the end that they didn't have the budget. It took about 2 months. It was probably delayed because of budgeting issues.

My interview began with an introductory call with the hiring manager, followed by a technical round led by an engineering lead, who probed system design, coding approach, and problem-solving communication.
