I applied online and within a week or two I was called personally to set up a time for an interview. It was a group interview. Basically I show up to the store, I wait within the store and then we are taken elsewhere in the mall. It was at the mall at Santa Monica. It was myself, another college student, a guy who had experience working in a toy store, and another who worked at a supermarket. Basic questions that deal with how good you are at sales and then some ridiculous questions like what is magic to you? Most importantly, how friendly and strong are you as a sales associate.
