Pretty standard interview process. Had a phone interview first and then was notified that they wanted to perform an in-person interview the following week. Phone interview was easy and basic questions. The only real issue was the person interviewing was more than half an hour late calling. A little unprofessional but I let that slide. Was later emailed to come in for an in-person interview. Arrived on the interview day early and again, He was over 15 minutes late to start the interview. Started to notice a common theme, and increasingly turned off from the position. Which is very disappointing coming from such a well talked about company. Interviewed with 4 people at once. From the appearance seemed to be an older group all of 35+ years old. Again basic questions asked from printed sheet. After the questions went for a tour of the lab and facility. While being shown the lab say multiple safety and lab issues. Such as people prepping solutions without gloves, people playing on their phones while standing next to HPLC/GC instruments in the work area, eye glasses on top of head instead of covering eyes. And a couple more issues noticed.Tour ended and was told I would be contacted with an update. Still no update but would strongly reconsider even accepting if even offered the position after seeing and meeting some of the people at this facility.
