Wazo is looking for someone who will work unpaid overtime. I had two phone interviews with them. Things seemed to be going well. In the second interview the marketing manager asked what my expectations were regarding work life balance and that a lot of late nights and long hours would be required, was I ok with that? I said that would be a question of overtime compensation. I followed up by email and told them I'd be happy to work long/late hours but that I'd either want to be brought on hourly depending on their overtime policy or at a higher salary than we'd originally discussed. They ghosted me. Didn't even provide me the courtesy of telling me whether I was still being considered or not when I followed up again and asked. I get that some folks are desperate, but if you have options, pass on this company. They're looking for suckers to take advantage of and overwork.
